U.S. Energy Transition & Sustainability Advisor
With over two decades of global experience in energy, Oscar has developed both a skillset and a passion to transform the industry. In his current role as an Energy Transition & Sustainability Advisor at Shell, Oscar focuses on transforming Shell’s own assets to meet the company’s decarbonization goals, integrating products and solutions such as Solar, CCUS and EV charging into assets, and working to advance research and technologies for future energy systems. He manages relationships with key external universities and partners, ensuring a collaborative approach to projects and coalitions that focus on transforming the energy system. Joining Shell from bp in 2008 year, Oscar has held project manager and concept engineering manager roles in Deepwater and Shales businesses in the US, Brazil, and Argentina. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Houston and a Master’s of Business Administration from Yale School of Management focused on Sustainability.
