Jim Lawnin is currently building a new firm with private equity investors and ESG engineers to invest and operate decarbonization projects within the agriculture and energy industries. He is a board member of Sustainability Ventures Group, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments, where previously he was Co-Founder and Managing Partner. He is a serial entrepreneur and an active angel investor and sits on the board of several private technology companies. He has held senior executive positions at Fortune 500 companies leading global management consulting teams advising both domestic and international energy companies on strategic transformational initiatives. He holds BS degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Accounting, and an Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s of Science degree in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
