Dr Subrata Bhowmik is the Principal Engineer for Subsea Digital & Innovation at McDermott International, London, responsible for leading digital twin development and various digital innovation activities in the Subsea and Energy Transition area.
Before joining McDermott in 2018, Subrata worked for almost 15 years in Research & Development, Engineering Consulting & Asset Management at several energy companies, including INEOS, Petrofac, National Oilwell Varco and GE Energy.
Subrata Bhowmik received PhD in Intelligent Control Systems from the Technical University of Denmark and MS from ETH Zurich.
In addition, Subrata is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of IMarEST & Energy Institute. Subrata published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers on AI applications in various journals and conferences.
