Although beginning her career as a geoscientist, in recent years, Emily has been investigating the challenges faced by operators and service providers in the oil and gas industry when it comes to implementing sustainability initiatives. As the industry witnesses an ever increasing spotlight on emissions, Emily and her team have been looking to see how digital solutions can clear a path to easier management of emissions, that will support the industry in it’s journey to net zero. Emily holds a doctorate in geotechnical engineering from the University of Southampton, and has been working in the oil and gas industry for 10 years.
