Daniel Sheahan is the Director of Sustainability for Chord Energy. He is responsible for managing and advancing sustainability practices at Chord and integrating sustainability into strategic planning and operations, as well as managing current and future ESG risks and opportunities. Daniel leads the external reporting of Chord’s programs and performance, including the publication of Chord’s annual sustainability report.

Prior to moving into the Sustainability role, Daniel oversaw corporate HSE for Oasis Petroleum, and before that worked at ConocoPhillips for ten years in a variety of engineering, technical safety, and HSE roles.

Daniel graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, a Masters in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, and a MBA from the University of Texas.
