Abhi Kohli has over 11 years’ experience in Petroleum Engineering disciplines and Front-End Project Management. After starting his career in studies team, he worked as an Operational Petrophysicist at PDO, Oman which was followed by an assignment in the Netherlands. He then went on to work in Iraq before returning to the Netherlands as an Opportunity Lead for Abandonment & New Energy projects. He currently works as the Area Development Lead for CCS projects in the US. His expertise lies in Integrated Reservoir Modelling and subsurface uncertainty analysis. He has co-/authored 8 technical publications. He is an active SPE member and currently a Board member for SPE Gulf Coast Section. He holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, India and enjoys playing poker and going on long bike rides in his free time.
